I've been getting my "spring cleaning" mode on here recently. So far I've vacuumed each room (behind and under furniture) dusted baseboards, scrubbed walls, cleaned out the kitchen cabinets and washed the windows (inside at least, the outside will have to wait until after the pollen leaves). Here'a little project I scrubbed while John was at work (cleaning up after the tornado's) on Sunday.
**Make note, I hate this chore. There are a thousand other chores I'd rather do instead, so this is kinda a big deal.**
Our oven before:
It was in desperate need. Thank GOD for oven cleaner.

Our oven before:
Umm.. eww.
Overflowed pecan pie remnants? check.
Holiday Chex Mix pieces? check.
Bacon grease splatters? check.
After:
Other than a couple stubborn spots. All clean.
So pretty.
In other news:
Be careful when super glueing things together. This is liable to happen:
whoopsie. good thing we had some fingernail polish around to help peel it off without taking my skin with it. :)
I hope y'all are off to a good start for your week :)
Ugh. I really, really need to clean out our oven!!! I already did my "spring cleaning", but I'm already in the mood for another round. Clean freak? Yes, yes I am, haha. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI so applaud your sparkly clean oven. That is the worst chore! I've been blessed in this house with a self-cleaning oven but still have to wipe out all the gunk after it's done incinerating it. What can you say about Super Glue? Yikes! I've been using Gorilla Glue gel lately instead and I really like it.
